A 12-inch seat generally fits riders roughly 7 to 11 years old. Seat size follows the rider's build — measure from the back of the seat to the front of the knee.
Condition it lightly before the first rides and after any soaking. Keep it out of direct heat. The tooling holds its cut for decades with basic upkeep.
